Specialist Medical Representative – Kwazulu Natal

An Experienced Specialist Representative with established relationships in the Kwa-Zulu Natal area.

Reporting: RSM

The appointee will;

 Deliver on set overall the company’s portfolio target for the respective area
 Achieve set GTM KPI’s as per company expectations
 Execute with excellence the company’s portfolio strategies to meet business objectives
 Drive business ambitions for both private & state sector across the company’s franchise
 Cross-functional collaboration with Angels/Medical team to existing stroke centres and on boarding hospitals and institutions.
The accountabilities of the position are as follows:

Hospital Account Management

 Obtain and provide information about the development in accounts on their purchasing medicines and developments regarding to The company’s portfolio.
 Listing of The company’s products in all accounts through the value proposition of TA to the payers and P&T committee and the decision makers to expand market penetration (thrombolysis demand)
 Monitor the competition intelligence activities on Key Accounts – Stroke vs STEMI
 Achieve or exceed overall sales targets via appropriate resource utilization as well as routine and frequent visits to key stakeholders e.g. Chief pharmacists and Pharmacy buyers; decision makers; and Related Physicians (Neuros, ED Physicians, Cardio, etc).
 Work with relevant stakeholders/associations on STEMI Project
Stakeholder Management:

 Build strong and long partnership with all Key stakeholders and ensure their full awareness of BI product benefits to the patients.
 Propose customized partnership programs for both prescriber and payers that need to build the productive business relation between the account and BI.
Entry Requirements:

 Potential to understand hospital mapping, hospital formularies and hospital protocols
 Strong track record of sales success and/or project management
 Strong influencing and negotiation skills
 Confident and effective customer networking skills
 Exceptional selling or communication/presentation skills
 High energy, self-driven and ability to execute on set targets
 Able to balance autonomy with team work

Job Expertise

 A minimum 2 years of experience in the Market
 Public sector experience is an advantage, Thrombothe company’s Specialty experience is a plus

Minimum Education Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or related field/qualification
