Artwork Pharmacist - Pharmaceutical
Responsible for the artwork process to ensure accurate and complaint artwork is implemented, in accordance with SAHPRA’s labelling regulations, and internal requirements. Ensure continuous communication and support in the creation of new, and the revision of existing printed packaging material according to an approved change request, to meet the required timelines. Customers include, but are not limited to Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing sites, Marketing department and/or external customers. Managing of the technical and administrative processes needs to be done with minimal disruption and timeous execution.Major Accountabilities:1. Artwork: Coordinate the creation/revision of labelling components per approved Change Request with external typesetters, review typeset copies and obtain appropriate approvals. Coordinate (including allocation) creation of Text masters within the RA department to ensure lead times are met. Pre-check documentation for completeness and accuracy. Pre-check labeling components. Coordinate write off requests for obsolete labelling. Actively track artwork material through the review process to ensure commercial priorities are met.2. Artwork in RA – Ensure safety label updates are expedited and all HA and/or Internal timelines are met for implementation. Maintain continuous communication with Regulatory Affairs, ensuring latest approved dossier information is updated on the printed packaging material. Ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines for Artwork processes, and effectively manage communication to all vendors/ stakeholders involved in the process.3. Ensure that the Artwork approval for a new launch, update or other priority Artwork projects are efficient and accurate with minimal number of proof generation and routings.4. Technical specifications and documentation – Ensure all technical specifications as required by the site/s comply at the time of artwork approval. Ensure the technical data (e.g. colours, barcode) on the artwork master is correct.5. Networks – Build and maintain good relationships within the local and global organization and with internal and external customers.
Pharmacist (B.Pharm) with at least 2 years’ experience in Artwork, RA or QA.
English (written & spoken) – excellent Afrikaans (written) – good
